Barry became a Chartered Accountant in 1972 after studying at Queen's University. He has been in public practice for more than 40 years.  His areas of specialization include tax, estate planning, real estate taxation, accounting and auditing. Barry continues to attend various in-depth tax and accounting courses. He also enjoys managing real- estate development projects.

Joe Commisso, B.Comm, C.A.

Joe received his CA designation in 1994 after earning a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Toronto.  He has worked in public practice for more than 20 years since joining Applebaum, Commisso in 1986. He became a partner in 2004.  His areas of specialization include tax, estate and tax planning, real estate taxation, accountancy, and auditing. He continues to attend various in-depth tax and accounting courses.  In recent years Joe has served as treasurer of the Dufferin-Peel school board.
